Spotchem Ez Chemistry Analyser

The SpotChem EZ Chemistry Analyser is a highly reliable 22 parameter clinical chemistry analyser. It enables in-practice biochemistry tests to be performed immediately to help veterinarians make informed diagnostic decisions.

The SpotChem EZ has a compact and lightweight design, making it ideal for any veterinary practice. It offers a low level of maintenance and easy calibration. The SpotChem EZ can simultaneously test up to 9 parameters at any one time. It has a simple and quick operation with up to 63 tests performed per hour.

The SpotChem EZ is capable of analysing serum, plasma or whole blood samples. There are 3 different sample collection tubes available:

	Serum Cuvette: plain serum, serum gel or heparinised plasma samples.
	Blood Cuvette: containing heparin anticoagulant for whole blood samples.
	Centrifuge Cups: for whole blood samples using the analyser’s internal centrifuge.

Parameters

The SpotChem EZ Chemistry Analyser is capable of analysing up to 9 parameters from one sample and prints results on its internal thermal printer in less than 10 minutes. The full test menu includes 22 individual parameter strips and 8 multi-parameter strips. The SpotChem EZ can run one multi-parameter strip plus 3 single parameter strips at any one time.

Reagent chemicals are embedded in pads on the test strips
The chemicals react with the patient sample to form a coloured end product
The intensity of the colour, or how fast the colour develops, is proportional to the amount of test substance present

Built-In Centrifuge

Whole blood samples can be measured easily and promptly with the built-in centrifuge for pre-treatment. Continuous measurement of up to 9 items is available.

Automatic Calibration

By reading the magnetic card attached to each test strip, variations among lots and changes with timing of test strips are automatically calibrated.
