sodium methyl: 1.5 mg. Methionine is the main source of sulfur in the body. It has a protective role in the liver. It is a Lipotropic agent and prevents the accumulation of fat.
Oral sorbitol stimulates the secretions of duodenal hormones. By accelerating the transit, it helps to restore disturbed metabolic functions, especially in case of ketosis of ruminants.
Choline is the precursor of acetylcholine. It is also involved in the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, constituting cell membranes and a component of bile. It promotes the digestion of lipids.
After oral administration, methionine, choline and sorbitol are absorbed by the gastrointestinal mucosa and concentrate in the liver. Indications: in equines, cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, dogs, cats and minks: prevention and additional treatment during liver failure, liver jaundice, hepatorenal syndrome, hepatic encephalosis, poisoning, hepatic steatosis of poultry.
