Aureomycin Eye Ointment 5 g

AUREOMYCIN® eye ointment is a homogeneous ointment containing chlortetracycline as active component. Chlortetracycline is a bacteriostatic antibiotic that inhibits the bacterial protein synthesis of the rapidly growing and reproducing bacterial cell. Chlortetracycline has a broad spectrum of activity including Gram-positive aerobes, Gram-negative anaerobes and mycoplasma. It is known that resistance occurs in respiratory pathogens of cattle, and cross-resistance occurs between chlortetracycline and other tetracyclines. AUREOMYCIN® eye ointment is easy and safe to use, and can be “dripped” on to the eye from the tube at room temperature.
